Sutton Foster, an actor who sings, dances, and performs she has been featured in 11 Broadway shows, including the most recent production of Violet. She also originated parts in Broadway as a singer, dancer and actor in The Drowsy Chaperone and Little Women. The actress's Tony Award winning performances include Anything Goes, Thoroughly Modern Millie as well as Young Frankenstein. Star Search, at the age of 15 was her first time that she made an appearance on television. In the years since, Sutton has appeared on Bunheads as well as Psych. Sutton Foster is a soloist who has performed in the US as well as overseas with Michael Rafter. They have covered songs off her debut CD "Wish" and the follow-up CD An Evening with Sutton Foster Live At The Cafe Carlyle. Ball State University conferred her with an honorary PhD in the year 2011. In addition to being an advisor and professor in the Department of Theatre and Dance, she was also awarded this degree by Ball State University. Her new TVLand series, "Younger," created by Darren Star began airing in March of this year.
