Lesley-Ann Brandt was born Cape Town in South Africa on December 2, 1981. Model and actress well known for her roles in television as well as film. Brandt was a model and actress who started her career as an actor in the new Zealand's Diplomatic Immunity sitcom she began her American debut on the stage with the character as Naevia in the historical show Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The actress has been featured on a variety of TV series in the past decade. They include Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies The Librarians. Brandt is currently playing Mazikeen as a character from Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro's urban fantasy Lucifer. Brandt was originally born in Cape Town South Africa, however, she relocated with her parents to Auckland New Zealand in late in her adolescence. Brandt began her modeling career by appearing in advertisements as well as in print ads. Prior to her rise to the spotlight as a model, she worked in the field of retail sales as well as being an information technology recruitment consultant. In the New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity in which she played Leilani F'auigaese, in 2009 her first major role was secured. In 2021 she appeared in Spartacus Blood and Sand as an unnamed young slave girl named Naevia. As well, she has reprised the Naevia character in the prequel Miniseries Spartacus Gods of the Arena. She co-starred alongside actor Craig Parker in three different TV series: Diplomatic Immunity (2009) Spartacus (2010) and Legend of the Seeker (2008). In the year 2016, Mazikeen was cast as the bounty hunter in the popular Netflix show Lucifer. The character she played on Lucifer is the biggest one that she has played to date. On the show she co-stars alongside Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro as well as D. B. Woodside.
